this is an odd one so far

Australia(view spoiler)[ I think I'm struggling to picture this one correctly. the spaceship - this octagonal shape is just boggling my mind
but also I don't have a good idea just how many layers this has. I also don't think I understand their bunk system or...much else. lol (hide spoiler)]

Agatha(view spoiler)[ I also understand very little about her. I mean, she seems like she's protecting Chan but Chan seems hell bent on making odd choices - ones that don't seem to save anyone and only put herself in danger (hide spoiler)]

mother(view spoiler)[ her tricks sound interesting and I love how she was able to get all the respect and traded fair (and kind) but.....she really left Chan in a really crappy area. I wonder if Chan and Agatha can move up. because obviously the bad guys are definitely moving up (hide spoiler)]

the idea(view spoiler)[ of how all these gangs work. I don't know. I guess it might happen on the ship but it doesn't seem like the ones that are that sick would rule them all (hide spoiler)]

Inferno(view spoiler)[ the book was odd too, right? that the group gave her those odd 3 partial stories. I'm not sure what that was all about either (hide spoiler)]

Through part one

It's still(view spoiler)[ hard to figure out how this ship is structured - with the atrium and their round stop-sign kind of shape. she's having to make some really tough decisions too. Who do you try to save? and when do you stay quiet? (hide spoiler)]

I'm still(view spoiler)[ not sure about the "purgatory" and the levels of hell theory. and obviously the top floor has now been infiltrated (hide spoiler)]

I do like(view spoiler)[ the stories from Agatha as we get to know her mom better
but their structure of society is still confusing as well and I don't understand how her mom had any ability to have control or power over anyone else just using some smoke and mirrors (hide spoiler)]

Chan(view spoiler)[ what she has done was both reckless and stupid. I can't believe she just keeps going back. not everyone can be saved
and taking Rex was beyond reckless and she put everyone in danger for it. and now the Home button? (hide spoiler)]

I don't(view spoiler)[ like that Rex is still alive. what a horrible way to end all of this. that Chan wasn't successful in anything she did
it's a let down to me and ruined the whole story

I ended up having to return this one and reorder it, so I can pick it up this weekend! Then I'll read it and we can move on to book 2.

Chan (view spoiler)[was going to be a bad ass girl, I thought, but she made so many what I thought were stupid moves. I was disappointed in her character as the story progressed. (hide spoiler)]
