One Point Tasks

Read a book whose the MC is a werewolf - OR- a book that has a moon on the cover (show cover)

1.5 Friday the 13th
Read a book with the word "Friday" in the title. -OR- a book that is #1, #3, or #13 in a series.

1.6 Celebrate the Author

Read Two Books

1. Capture the Flag
Read a book set in ROMANIA (must be at less set 75% in chosen country).

2. Detour
To reach your detour complete one of the following tasks.
Transylvania, a historical region of Romania

a. Transylvania or Transilvania (from latin) means "The land beyond the forest"
Read a book with a grove of trees on the cover. (show cover).

b. Bran Castle also known as "Dracula's Castle", built in 1377.
Read a book with Dracula has a character. -OR- a book with the word castle in the title or on the cover.

c. Transylvanians are not only know for producing wonderful fragrant wine but also of their double-distilled Brandy, made of fruit, particularly apple, pears, and plums.
Read a book with double - letters in title and the author's name.
ex. Swimming To Catalina by Stuart Woods

d. Old Traditions are still alive and well in the small villages of Transylvania.People are still making a living with such timely occupations as Blacksmiths, Carpenters, Shepherds, and Weavers.
Read a book that the MC is either Blacksmith, Carpenter, Shepherd, or Weaver.

This month is my birthday, and I just finished The Luminaries, so the zodiac is in my brain.
Read two books inspired by the zodiac sign of Libra.

Read a book with a 7 in the publication year or the page number.
2. Libra is an air sign
Read a book where you can see the sky on the cover.

Read Three Books

It's Halloween, so invite your favorite monsters to the party!
Read three books that include monsters (witches, vampires,ghosts, etc.). Each book you read must contain a different monster, which you will list with your post. They do not need to act monstrous, but they must be supernatural.

Celebrating National Gumbo Day (10/12) and National Pasta Day (10/17)
Spell-out the word GUMBO or PASTA
