Hank Quense | 32 comments I've self-published over 20 books. My new non-fiction project is called How to Self-publish and Market a Book. Most books on these subjects treat publishing and marketing as separate projects. My book is a comprehensive guide to an integrated approach to self-publishing and marketing a book. I've finished a second draft and I'm looking for a few readers to tell me what they don't understand or what has to be explained better. If you're interested in helping out (and getting an advance peek at the book) let me know.

Thanks for volunteering, Eric. However, I'm not looking for people to 'read' it. I need people to tell me what they don't understand or what they feel needs more or better explanations. If this works for you, I'll need an email address.

John Tissandier | 12 comments I write fiction (short stories and poetry) but my background is in science & philosophy. For me clarity of expression is of the utmost importance. I would be willing to point out any sections that are unclear or ambiguous.

I was going to send you my email address by private message, but noticed when I enter your name in the To box it doesn't appear in the drop-down list. I'm new to Goodreads and am presuming it only shows my friends. If I enter your name manually will the message get to you or do we need to become friends first?

John (or anyone needing to do this, ofc), go to the author's profile. On PC, next to the "Follow author" is something like a down arrow, that'll give more options, including "send a message".

Many thanks for that info Tomas, I hadn't realised there were all those options.
