read book in last few years. Woman creates an advanced AI computer, it' stolen or destroyed people killed, Creator of AI was late? so wasn't killed. She recreates AI, Female AI lives in virtual world where creator inserts different situations to teach AI. One was a puppy(a beagle I think) It ages and dies, gets injured, dies many times. To teach AI life situations.
Sorry this is about all I remember about the book.
