Nancy | 2838 comments Just started this today.

Amanda (tnbooklover) I'm mostly a lurker here but I'm starting this tonight so thought I would join in on the conversation.

Jonathan Hill | 173 comments I don't want to stifle discussion by posting regularly in this thread, but I just want to say thank you to those who read the book, and if you do have any specific questions about the book or the writing of it, I'm happy to answer them.

T.B. Markinson (markinson) | 12 comments I picked up a copy and I hope to start reading soon. Looking forward to the discussion.

K.N. (karmaplace) | 32 comments I'm currently reading this. It's fantastic so far, even managed to make me emotional.

K.N. (karmaplace) | 32 comments When I went back to the book for the second time, I had to finish it. I couldn't walk away from it until I had gotten to the final page. It was a really fantastic book. This book made me (an Ice Queen, if you will) emotional, which is the mark of an exceptional book in my humble opinion (the book must be good to bring me to sad tears).

I talked about it a bit in my review, but considering current events in my hometown I was even more invested in the story than I would normally be. It's horrifying that even in 2014/2015 such horrible abuses still happen (and are not taken seriously)! Here's an article on what happened for anyone who is interested: http://www.ithacajournal.com/story/ne...

In any case, fantastic book! All the characters were extremely multifaceted and interesting.

Jonathan Hill | 173 comments Thanks, Kaitlin! I'm seriously pleased to have melted the Ice Queen! ;)

I've just read most of that article you linked to and it's pretty horrific. I can see why my book resonated even more with you. I fully agree that 'kids being kids' and 'it's part of growing up' does NOT cut it any more.

Dana (danarohinsky) | 89 comments Hi Jonathan -- do you have any plans to make the book available on bn.com or as an epub? I'd like to read it on my nook...

Jonathan Hill | 173 comments Hi Dana,

Thanks for your interest in my book. At the moment, I have no immediate plans to make the book available off-Amazon but I certainly won't rule this out for the future so thanks for your feedback. The novel is available in paperback if that's better for you.

Rob Damon This sounds like a good book but I am so poor at the moment I cannot afford to buy many books. Would love to get involved in a debate soon though.

Rob Damon And the writer is from Manchester England, my home town!

Good to meet you too. Kevin is ok so far, a bit odd with the letters but I hope it will prove to be a justified way of writing it. Had a quick read of Fag on Amazon, nice writing...

Jonathan Hill | 173 comments Very kind of you to say so! Thanks!

I'm saying nothing about the letters till you've finished!

I think they are letters she has not sent. They seem far too long for what a woman would write to her husband.
