Are you ready for a war? Yes, I said war. For this challenge, I will divide you up into two teams. Each team will read books to fit a weekly Thanksgiving theme and earn points for their team. The team with the most points at the end of the month wins this Thanksgiving war. Sign up here with your estimated # books per week and let's see who wins this war!

Family Dinners is the theme for week 1. Does a family sit down to eat? Is there a picture on the cover of a family dinner? Do they talk about a family dinner or Thanksgiving dinner? You can be creative with this challenge.

That is why I told you to estimate low when signing up last month. Not every book will fit. Maybe try taking a trip to your library to find a book that will fit. Ask your librarian for help. They may surprise you. My old library had a librarian that could find a book to fit anything.

Reed, this is a challenge. It is called a challenge because we have to look for books to fit the theme or task. If we could just read anything, then it would be a readathon. This might not be the right fit for you if you don't want to find books to meet the challenge. There are plenty of readathons here in HOB. Take a look. You might find those enjoyable as you can read whatever you want without having to fit a specific challenge. I can't change the rules of a challenge for one person. It isn't fair to the rest of the players.

The higher the page count, the higher the points. If the books fit the task, I'd post 'em.

Reed, this is a challenge. If the books don't fit the tasks, it doesn't count. We wouldn't get any points.

You don't have any books that has a family dinner? Do you have Kindle Unlimited? There a lots of books there and I'm sure you could find a book with family dinner.

Reed you don’t have to have a Thanksgiving book this week. Just a scene of a family dinner. Do any of your books have a family sitting down to dinner? That would fit. If you need help you can feel free to send me a private message.
