Well..I'm late to the game, but I wanted to throw some things out there. I usually check out what my friends are reading. Here are some books that I have LOVED. "The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry," "Unoffendable," and "Tale of Three Kings" are some of my favs. For fiction, "The Delusion" is unbelievable!

Leif Anderssen | 5 comments I ask God to show me.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.”

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭3‬:‭5‬-‭6‬ ‭NLT‬‬

His Holy Spirit can guide us and teach us. It’s so amazing. God Bless You and may His Holy Spirit fill You and guide and teach You amazing things.

“But when the Father sends the Advocate as my representative—that is, the Holy Spirit—he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you.”
‭‭John‬ ‭14‬:‭26‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Homer Les | 2 comments I have to admit I find it very hard. I have looked in many places but have found little. I do agree with Leif though that the Father can direct our steps and make the connections possible. I have seen time and again Him making a connection where there was none before. I have found more than a few gems that way.

Heather | 60 comments I like to read devotionals from pastors and Bible scholars that I like, past and present. I also like to read authors that are local to me. Frequently, they mention or quote another, (especially preachers from the past, like Tozer, Pink, etc.), so I go in search of those. I watch the books my Goodreads friends read and those in the reading groups I'm in. I read a lot using the library Libby app, they have books listed by genre. Be careful though, they do miscategorize some non fiction secular "spirtitual" books under the same section. With some discernment and a good eye, you should be able to notice which ones are Christian books and which aren't. I like to google unknown authors and I always look on Goodreads for reviews. As for Christian fiction, that's also a genre that Libby has. I suggest joining some Goodread groups for Christian fiction and non fection. Some of them have book of the month, discussion topics, and even games to get one reading more. I know this is a little late, but hopefully it helps you, or perhaps someone else. God bless.

Aaron | 1 comments Someone like Tim Challies at his website frequently reviews books, or puts out a list of new books each month. I've found this a helpful way to find book recommendations. I also get emails from various Christian publishers or bookstores (Westminster Books, Reformation Heritage Books) that highlight certain books, or advertise upcoming publications.
