Information versus Revelation.- Some people only get Information regarding Jesus and His salvation and others who's really all-in, get the Revelation of who Jesus is. Like coming to church on Sunday just to hear the sermon for the information but not getting the revelation and continue to live how you want to live day to day. If you hear the word of God and refuse to obey it, you will leave worse than you came. Just getting enough of Jesus but not really living for him and his purpose for your life. David rejoiced when he was told, "let us go into the house of lord" But when he left God's house, he had changed. So, often we leave the presence of God the way we entered, we don't leave changed. -
I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go to the house of the LORD.” -Psalm 122:1 “Watch out! Don’t do your good deeds publicly, to be admired by others, for you will lose the reward from your Father in heaven. -Matthew 6:1 So we must listen very carefully to the truth we have heard, or we may drift away from it. -Hebrews 2:1 God blesses the one who reads the words of this prophecy to the church, and he blesses all who listen to its message and obey what it says, for the time is near. -Revelation 1:3
