Ditte (booksaboveeverything) | 14 comments This book is missing a cover. I've scanned and uploaded this cover photo for use on Goodreads: https://1drv.ms/i/c/eecb4666f38a6516/...

Further, I added a request with information to update all parts of this book a month ago that's yet to be looked at. If someone could do this, I'd appreicate it - https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

This is just for cover image, your other request is in the correct folder and will be dealt with in time.

Sorry, just one more thing that I can't tell from photos, please can you confirm if this is hardcover or paperback.

Thanks so much! Just a small correction as I see it's been changed - the title of the book is "Wilfred Owen: Collected Letters" - not just "Collected Letters" :)

Martin | 35471 comments Why? Is Wilfred Owen not the author?
Note that the author name and book title are in different text and different colour on the cover.

I do see they're different on the cover. Wilfred Owen is indeed the author of the letters, yes, but he died in 1918 in WWI, and this book was published in 1967. It's a collection of 700 letters he wrote throughout his short life - the 2 editors have selected, transcribed, and annotated all of them. So the book is both /by/ Wilfred Owen but also the letters /of/ Wilfred Owen.

His official biographer (Dominic Hibberd) and other experts also refer to this book as "Wilson Owen: Collected Letters".

Martin | 35471 comments I agree that the book contains the letters of Wilfred Owen, he is given as author so I see no difficulty in using the title 'Collected Letters' as shown on the cover.
