For what I've read there isn't much of a policy on what to do with authors with non-latin alphabet names. I found a bunch of japanese authors in both japanese and latin, should I:

A. Merge them...
A1. keeping the latin one or
A2. keeping the japanese one, or

B. add as a primary author on every work the name that is missing? (kind of annoying)

If it's option A, should I enter the discarded version of the name between brackets at the end? Like "Akira Toriyama (鳥山 明)"

If it's option B, which one should I keep?

B is preferable. But yeah, annoying. I would keep as primary the one that corresponds to the language the author originally published in.

Should anything be done regarding the "original title" field in such incidences? (For example: if it is an English work translated into Japanese, should the English title be in the "original title" field?)
