I don't think separating books is specifically detailed in the manual, but if you're in the Combine page, find the edition you want to separate out, and click "separate" (next to each edition it says: "details | edit | separate").

Athena (littletornado) | 3 comments I'm having a similar problem with True Philippine Ghost Stories #18 and True Philippine Ghost Stories #8. They're two completely different books in the same series, but got listed as different editions of the same book. Elizabeth, when I go to the combine page, I only see links for "details | edit," not "separate." Any other ideas?

Vicky (librovert) | 2462 comments The two books must have been combined when they were both under the author PSICOM. They now have two different authors, which was why only one of them was showing up.

I edited the authors to be the same, separated them, and reverted the author change. :)

Ah, these books have different authors -- must have been changed after they'd been combined or something, so they don't show up as combined when you go to the Combine page (since the Combine page is for all books for which that primary author is the primary author) but the previous combine is still in effect at the book level.

I changed #8 to have Gianna Maniego as the primary Editor (which WorldCat suggests is correct anyway, conveniently) and that seems to have re-set the cache, saving me having to use the separate tool after all.

Athena (littletornado) | 3 comments Thanks! Reginald Ting is the only editor for book 8, though, as the cover (and the WorldCat entry's notes section) shows.

Oops, that's what I get for editing too close to bedtime. Close-reading fail.

ISBN 4091997015 (ISBN13: 9784091997012)is not another version of this book, but a wholly separate art-book compilation of cover art and other illustrations from the whole series.

Separated.
