I don't know if this has been asked or if you had answered it already, but what made you come up with the story for Gena/Finn? This book was amazing and I just loved the characters.

Hello! I was wondering, was it you or kat who wrote the "when jake was my brother" poems at part three of gena/finn?

Hannah Moskowitz All the poems (and anything from Gena's POV, save for a few texts in Finn sections) was me.

How do you hone your prose so that it's clear, distilled pain and wonderful angst? Teeth gave me so many thrills with how tight the writing and emotions were. Also, [spoilers removed]

Hannah Moskowitz Thank you! Just a lot of practice, I guess. It's funny because I think people expect me to be a very dark and twisty person...and I'm actually pretty bubbly and happy. I just have INNER TORMENT, I guess.

I just want to thank you for writing Teeth. It is probably my favourite book of all time and I haven't stopped thinking about it since I read it, like a year ago. How did you manage to write it so beautifully and where did you get your inspiration from? Will you ever write something in the same genre? Thank you again. That book has changed my life.

Hannah Moskowitz Thank you! I'm working right now on a book about orphans who fight sea monsters which has the same sort of dreamy, half-fantasy, oceanic feel. It's actually responding to a lot of the themes in Teeth, sort of taking them and inverting them. So while it's not an official companion novel, I think it will offer some closure in a way.

Hannah Moskowitz Thank you!! They are but they're private because I have no idea how to make them public because I'm dumb. Also some of the songs on them aren't on Spotify (I'm looking at you, Damien Rice) so some are incomplete.
