Kiah Stephens Hi Sandra,
Thanks so much, I love hearing from my readers.
I don't have an email list set up as yet, but I have been contacted privately before, and I'm always happy to communicate via email.
I'm always on the hunt for beta-readers to offer feedback and suggestions before I publish my books, so if you're interested in reading my work before it hits the shelves just let me know ;)
Have a wonderful day,
Kiah
Kiah Stephens Hi Sam,
Book 2 and Book 3 (the final book in the series) are already completed. Just waiting on my editor to make sure Book 2 will be error free (or as close to error free as humanly possible!) At this stage, we're looking at late November for it to be published.
Thank you for your question, have a wonderful day.
Kiah
Kiah Stephens I watch people—the way they talk and interact, their body language, their facial expressions. I also listen to what people have to say. There are so many wonderful and inspiring stories of people lives, and while I, in no way, copy them, I am inspired by their tenacity and the amazing gifts of forgiveness, grace, restoration, and of course, love from God.
I like to keep my stories modern—I can relate to modern issues, and challenges, and so that just flows easiest for me.
Kiah Stephens I am currently working on a romance set in Queensland, Australia. It's about a young woman, Emma, who has had a very difficult upbringing. her mother suffers not only from severe depression, but is also bi-polar. her father abandoned her when she was only eight. Emma is beautiful, but she is also full of fear, and uncertainty. She has developed a way of coping with these issues by lying. No one knows who she really is—and that's how Emma would like to keep it.
I'm really enjoying writing this book, I can actually feel Emma's fear and heart break as she deals with the challenges she has to face. It's a story about love. Love is the only thing powerful enough to cast away her fears - but when she fears that love can only lead to being abandoned and deserted again, how can Emma find the courage to be brave?
Kiah Stephens The freedom to write whatever it is that I want to is the best thing about being a writer. There are no limitations, and I try not to follow too many rules (although some are necessary). Writing is a great way to channel imagination, creativity, and passion. :)
