Read "So You Want to Be a Writer" by Charles Bukowski. See how you feel after that. I'd say, imagine if no one ever likes your stuff, or no one ever even reads it. Would it still be worth doing? If your answer is "yes", then go ahead and start. Anyway, I am an aspiring writer, so what do I know?

Everything about it. It's the only thing I could ever envision myself "being", except for, perhaps, a notorious drug addict. I enjoy every second spent writing, rewriting, reading and rereading, editing - all of it. Trying to pimp my work; not so enjoyable.

I don't know that I've ever had it. Though I have gone periods of time without writing. If you have nothing to write, don't force it.
