I love all this fantasy and Magic. So TV shows, movies and books are all inspiration. I always find a tiny little nugget of something from a show or book and it turns into something so much bigger in my head.
For the Soothsayer series, we read a few of the Arthurian legends when I was in college and they always stuck with me. I've also watched Merlin, the BBC show and loved it. There's something about the legends that has always stuck with me and so, when I started writing they were the first thing I thought about.

The world around you becomes so much more interesting. You see someone walking down the street who catches your eye an their swagger makes it into a character of yours. You hear or read a tidbit of information and it spark a whole novel in your head. Everything is inspiring and you get to create these beautiful worlds.

I am currently in the process of editing book three in the soothsayer series and writing book 4! It's a lot to juggle, but so much fun.

When I'm struggling with a scene or just don't know what to write, I put on classical or orchestra music and take my dogs for a walk. The combination of the fresh air, different scenery and beautiful music always gets my creative juices flowing.

Write everyday! It doesn't matter what you write, just get into the practice of putting words on the page. Once the words are on the page, then you can edit them and create a story!
