I am writing non fiction stories so inspiration is all around me. My current work is telling the story of one man who has been on a mission to bring awareness to the staggering number of veterans suffering from PTSD. A staggering number of veterans is taking their own life's because they see no other way out. One person's action in raising awareness is making a huge difference not only locally but across the nation.

My next work in progress addresses the serious issue of Veteran suicide and the very personal journey of one particular Veteran. His mission is to help prevent suicide and to make a difference not only in our community. Working with Veterans returning from war with severe PTSD many programs have been put into place to provide activities at no cost to the Veterans and their families. He inspired many by hiking 7,000 miles across the US raising funds to help Veterans and drawing attention to the many needs.

I am writing non-fiction stories telling the stories of other's - animals and people. This has enriched my life in so many ways. I have made great friends in the rescue community an met people I otherwise would have never had any contact with. Sharing their stories is my privilege.
