I work on conspiracies and build a plot around that. I have Sam Green, a character I love, and she is the vehicle for unravelling the conspiracies. It's not quite as simple as that, but that's the bones of it.

I have to start. Once I start writing the inspiration comes from from being behind the machine and one sentence leads to another. And then inspiration flows.

The second Sam Green novel, the follow-on from Unsuspecting Hero. I hope to have it out there by the Spring.

Do it. Just do it. But stick to a schedule (a chapter a week, or so many words etc). Without a schedule you might end up drawing the whole thing out. And a novel is only a novel when it's finished.

So far, with only one book out there and Chapter 1 of the sequel penned, I've been blessed by not stumbling across writer's block. I shall be asking the same question when it happens to me...as it will!
