Katie Ruggle Hi Laurie! My publisher switched me from mass market to trade paperbacks, which wreaked havoc on my new-release schedule. But! The next three bounty-hunting sisters books (including Into the Fray) are written and will be released, just under different titles. The Scenic Route (Felicity’s story) will be out July 31, 2024. Crossing Paths (Norah’s story, formerly Into the Fray) will be out Spring 2025, and Take a Hike (Charlie’s story) will be released late 2025-ish. As soon as I get definite release dates for CP and TaH, I promise to post them everywhere. Thanks for checking!

Katie Ruggle Thank you! I’m so happy you enjoyed them. Into the Fray is written and ready to go, but it hasn’t been released yet. My publisher is switching me from mass market to trade paperbacks, which has wreaked havoc on my new release schedule. However! Fish Out of Water, a stand-alone romcom, will be out Feb 13, 2024, and the next three books in the Bounty Hunters series will be released in fairly quick succession after that. They will be retitled, and I’ll post exact release dates and new titles as soon as I get the word. Thank you again for reading—and for your patience!
Katie Ruggle Hang in there—more books are coming! The next three in the Rocky Mountain Bounty Hunters series are written and will be coming out starting Summer 2024. Fish Out of Water, a murdery stand-alone romcom, will release first on Feb 13, 2024. As soon as I know exact dates and new titles for the Bounty Hunters books, I promise to post them on my website. Thank you for reading—and for your patience!
Katie Ruggle Hi Lucy! There will definitely be more Bounty Hunters books, and I’ve already written the next three in the series. My publisher is switching me from mass market to trade paperbacks, which has wreaked havoc with my release schedule, but the ducks have finally been lined up in a row! A murdery romcom stand-alone (Fish Out of Water) will be out Feb 13, 2024, and then the Bounty Hunters books will follow in fairly quick succession. As soon as I get the new titles and release dates, I’ll post them everywhere. Thank you for your patience, and happy reading!

Katie Ruggle Hi Cheryl—Thank you for reading! Those men’s stories haven’t been told yet (I’m keeping that particular plot bunny tucked away in my brain hutch), but there’s always a chance they’ll pop up in a future series. They definitely have future-book-hero potential…
Katie Ruggle Hi Rita! For some reason, trade is what’s selling right now. I noticed at my local bookstore that the romance section was only trade paperbacks—no handy mass-market size to be seen (granted, it’s a smallish store with a proportionally smallish romance section). These trends are circular, though, so hang in there—I bet mass-market (or something similar in size) will return to popularity sooner than later. Until then, we’ll need really big pockets.
Katie Ruggle Hi Karen!

More books are definitely coming! My publisher is switching me from mass market to trade paperbacks, which has wreaked havoc with my new-release schedule, but I have four books written and ready to go. A murdery romcom stand-alone (Fish Out of Water) will be out in Feb 2024, and then the next three Rocky Mountain Bounty Hunters books will be released in fairly quick succession after that. Into the Fray will be retitled (probably The Scenic Route). As soon as I know exact release dates and new titles, I promise to post them everywhere. Thank you for reading (and for your patience)!
Katie Ruggle Hello! That’s an excellent question. My publisher will be releasing all my future books as trade paperbacks, but I’m not sure about reprints of existing books. I’ll check on that and get back with you. Happy New Year!
Katie Ruggle Hi Katrina—Thank you for reading! A second Cowboy Christmas book is planned, but it’s not on the schedule as of yet. A soon-to-be-named murdery romcom stand-alone will be out July 2023, and the last three books in the Bounty Hunters series are written and ready to go after that. As soon as I know more, I promise to post it everywhere. Thank you for your patience—it’s been a wild last few years. 😊
Katie Ruggle Thank you, Sara--I'm so happy you enjoyed them! The next three Bounty Hunter books are written (yay!), but we don't have an exact release date for them yet (boo). A yet-to-be-named murder-y romcom stand-alone will be out next in July 2023, and then the rest of the Bounty Hunter books will follow, so probably Fall 2023-Spring 2024? Since they're ready to go, they'll likely come out fairly close together. Once I get the release dates from my publisher, I promise to post them everywhere. Thank you again!
Katie Ruggle Hi Shelley! You didn't miss it--Sam is still waiting for his own happily ever after. I'm determined to write his story, however (he's also my editor's favorite, so she's on Team Sam-Needs-A-Book as well). The last three books in the Bounty Hunters series are written and will be released first, but hopefully you (and other Sam fans) won't have to wait too much longer. Thank you for reading!
Katie Ruggle Hi Wendy--Thank you for reading! I love virgin heroes too, especially George (not that I have favorites, but he's totally my favorite ;-) ). Wes from Through the Fire (Rocky Mountain K9 Book #4) is also a virgin hero, plus--if you enjoy contemporary romance with a bit more heat--Will in Breaking the Silence (under my pen name Katie Allen) is a shy, damaged, and really lovely virgin hero. Happy reading!
Katie Ruggle Hi Karen—Thank you for reading! My publisher switched up the schedule a bit, so Felicity’s book will actually be coming out before Norah’s (formerly titled Into the Fray). The good news is that both books are written and in edits, so they should come out close together (Spring/Summer 2022), and the even better news is that the characters are heading back to Simpson and meeting the Search & Rescue crew. Writing Felicity’s story, it was fun to revisit old friends! I promise to post titles and exact release dates as I hear. Thanks again, and happy reading!
Katie Ruggle Hi Charlaine--Thank you for reading! My publisher rearranged the schedule a bit, so Felicity will be getting her book before Norah now. The good news is that both books are written and the tentative release dates will be late Spring 2022 and Summer 2022. The even better news is that the Bounty Hunter sisters will be visiting Simpson, Colorado, which means that we get to check in with the Search & Rescue crew! As soon as I know exact release dates and titles, I promise to post them everywhere.

Thank you again, and happy reading!
Katie Ruggle Yes! There will be at least one more book in the Rocky Mountain Cowboy series, although my publisher hasn't set a release date yet. The next RM Bounty Hunters book, Into the Fray, will be out in August of 2021, so it will be sometime after that. As soon as I know more, I promise to post the info everywhere. Thank you for reading!
Katie Ruggle Hi Sandy--Thank you for reading! I did leave Facebook (it's a bit of a hell pit), but you can find me on Twitter and Instagram (@KatieRuggle), as well as my website KatieRuggle.com (although I'm fairly horrible at social media, so my posts are usually about my animals or weirdly large garden vegetables).

Yes (re: new books)! INTO THE FRAY, the third book in the Rocky Mountain Bounty Hunters series, will be out in August 2021. I'm probably not supposed to have favorites, but it's totally one of my favorites. The fourth book in this series might have some of the Search & Rescue characters stopping in to say hello.

Thank you again, and happy reading!
