This book I'm working on, 'Soul Survivor,' came from watching and listening to a parliament of crows while out on my daily rounds of dog walks. I just built on the image of a belligerent bird and the public's general perception of them. One thing led to another an I eventually had my character partially responsible for the new apocalypse. I then took a left turn, and decided he could be more use to me as a comical character - and the new story just kind of wrapped itself around him.

A light-hearted fantasy with the working title, 'Soul Survivor.' The title will definitely change before publication. I have another two in mind, one suggested by a fellow CLOG group member.
