Rena Rocford Yes! I'm currently editing a sequel, but it hasn't gone to the publisher yet, so it might still be a while. It's actually part of a very large world with many stories. There are other stories from other characters with crossover into Acne's timeline, but right now we're taking it one book at a time and seeing where that gets us! Rena Rocford This is a sekret.
Rena Rocford Write and read. Read every book you can, but don't worry too much about the books on how to write. Read a couple, but don't get lost there. Then write until you know what your voice sounds like. Then, after all that, and it will probably be a long time, then start looking into editors and publishing. If you dive in too early, the business end of publishing will shape your words too much, and your writing voice will sound just like everyone else. Of course, if that's what you want, then sound like everyone else, but that's not what most writers want. My advice in a nutshell: find your voice.
Rena Rocford I love creating and making new worlds.
Rena Rocford A quart of icecream? Okay, for reals, the problem with writer's block is that it's indicative of burnout. The only way to get the groove back is to find the thing that sparks the fire and write. It's a terrible answer because for some people it will make no sense. For others, it works. And the thing is that it works really well right up until it doesn't work.
