Knowing that writing is the one thing that I love to do, inspires me to write. I try to do some every day. Also, at times, it's my sister who inspires me to write. When I'm slacking, or feel like my everyday life gets too busy, she stays on my back, telling me to "write those documents". She loves my books as much as I do.

That I have the ability to create worlds, characters and stories out of pure imagination, and can put them to paper....and that I can make people see through my writing, what I see in my head when I am imagining a person or a scene....It's not as easy as it sounds.

I go to the gym. It's amazing what an hour on the elliptical and some music will do to get your thoughts going. I also (and this is probably not normal, lol) talk out dialogue....for all characters involved in a particular scene. Sometimes when I talk it out, ideas come through.

Write the type of stories that you would love to read. If you're not in to what you're writing, your readers won't be either. Also, please keep in mind that not everyone will like how or what you write. That is okay, stay true to what you love and write what you want.
