Shea Ernshaw Thank you so much for the question Kara! A History of Wild Places will be shelved as psychological thriller/suspense in the adult genre. There are minor topics of drug use and suicide in the early chapters. So as long as those themes are ok, the rest of the book should be ok for YA readers. Thank you again for such a thoughtful question. :)
Shea Ernshaw Hello! I love that you spotted the mention of Sparrow in WINTERWOOD! Well done!!! And yes, I love tying in stories and characters and it would be terribly fun to do a crossover!!! Maybe someday! ;) Thank you for your question!
Shea Ernshaw No connection. They are each standalone novels! :D
Thank you for the question!
Shea Ernshaw I’m hoping to tell another story within the WINTERWOOD universe at some point!
Shea Ernshaw Hi Krystal!
Thank you for your kind words about THE WICKED DEEP! I'm not sure if WINTERWOOD will be on Netgalley but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it will be.
:)
Shea Ernshaw Hi Jenna,

Thanks for your question! The star is a classic pentagram, a symbol used since ancient Greece by Wiccans and other Celtic religions. When the publisher designed the cover, they wanted a symbol that represented "witch." And was easily recognizable by most readers.
