Dev Ayan I am editing my second book, a collection of short stories for children.
Dev Ayan 1) over think, but only about characters (no reader is compassionate about plotholes)
2) observe people. Any story revolves around people, even if it involves animals in pivotal roles, it has human values and emotions to teach- so observing people is a must.
3) write. The only thing that will make you a writer is writing. If your writing is appreciated, that's great, if not, don't worry, the world has never been thankful to critics as it is to bad writers and artists.

Dev Ayan Rachel had decided to finally enter her parents' bedroom she was barred from entering by her mother since the last two days. On entering she was shocked to find her parents' dead body with the clothes they were wearing two days ago.
Dev Ayan I just tell myself "You are no one if you are not a writer", that keeps my inspiration and motivation alive.
Dev Ayan It is a collection of poetries. When I was penning down one, little did I know they'd take the form of a BOOK.
The inspiration came from various emotional phases I was going through and my pursuit to cling on to optimism and hope during those times.
