Book 4 flowed from books 1, 2, and 3. It is part of a series I had in mind when I was a cottage resort owner after I left policing. I liked cozy mystery books and I liked books set in Canada so I could recognize landmarks and culture. I put the idea to the back of my mind until I was ready.

I go for a walk alone. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. My blocks are usually because I have too many ideas and have to stop writing to sort out which idea will work for me.

I have always been a reader and that led to a Journalism diploma. I was so excited when one of the course teachers came to my high school when I was in grade 12. I applied for the college course right then and there. The who, what, where, when, why and how have always interested me. I started to write at 18 years old and haven't stopped.
