To be honest, I don't get particularly inspired. I just have the desire to write, so I write. I do try to enjoy the beauty of the world around me, which helps perhaps, but in the end, I believe that writing comes to down to having the discipline to write.

This is a difficult question, because there is nothing about being a writer that I dislike. I love coming up with character arcs and story lines, I love to edit the first draft and then edit it 12 times more until I'm finally satisfied, but most of all I love the feeling of having written an emotional scene or a sharp dialogue that captures everything I wanted to say. That feeling is pure euphoria and relief!

To be honest, I have never experienced writer's block (knock on wood!). Even on days when I don't feel like writing I tell myself that it's easier to edit a badly written page than an empty page. And I have written my fair share of badly written pages. In the end, I throw those away, but they did serve a purpose: to practice my writing.
