I just finished "Miss Frost chills the Cheater" and I very much enjoyed it. I have liked all the books with Jayne Frost (my favorites of the Nocturne Falls series), but I especially liked this one with all the NP detail. I am in hopes that there will be more books with Jayne in the NP and that she doesn't disappear. Maybe her own series in the NP?? Either way, loved (love) the book (books)! Jennifer

I freaking love the house of compare series and I have read the end book but will there the 3rd, the 4th and the rest of the books be translated in Greek and published in Greece because I definitely want to continue the story of Chrysabelle and Malcolm in my native language the greek and will it be a movie franxhose adaptation or a tv show based on the house of comarre series with very good director and good writers??

Kristen Painter I don't own the rights to those books, so that would be up to the publisher, Orbit. I'm glad you're enjoying them!

Hello! I loved your House of Comarre series so much. Do you think you will develop any new books from that world or even possibly continue Chrysabelle's story? It was left on such a cliffhanger I don't think I ever got over it in the 5 years since reading it. Thank you for bringing such great concepts and writing into the world.

Kristen Painter Other than the spin off series I wrote directly after, Crescent City, there won't be any more books in that world. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Not a question so much as a comment. I just wanted you to know that House of Commaré is perhaps the best Vampire fiction I've read in a loonnnnggg time. I just re-read it and I have to say, I enjoyed it more the second time around. You're one of the few (like count, on one hand, few) authors who "get" vampires. HoC nails the epicness of vampire lore like, as I said, few others and I just wanted to thank you again?

Kristen Painter Thank you so much. Before I started the series, I actually researched all the creation mythology of vampires. I wanted to honor all those origin stories.

Hi, Do you know when the Nocturne Falls Universe stories will be in audio format? So far I have only found one on audible.

Kristen Painter We're working on them, but audio takes a while so it will be into the summer and early fall as they come out.

Hello Ms. Painter! First I have to say I LOVE LOVE LOVE your Nocturne Falls series and I can't wait for me. I just purchased The Vampire's True Love Trials: A Nocturne Falls Short. Now for my confusion. I am seeing other upcoming books Noturne Falls books but with a different author and your name regarding the Forward. Can you explain what this means please?

Hi, first of all i wanted to tell you how much i enjoyed your books. i also wanted to tell you that you have fans everywhere (i am from Egypt) so i think i know what i am talking about.i just wanted to ask if you intend to continue the Jayne Frost series and if you do if you can maybe give us a hint about book 4 expected release date? i can't wait to see what trouble her ex-best friend can stir.

Kristen Painter Egypt, wow, how cool! I will be continuing the Jayne Frost series for at least two more books. #4 probably won't be out until this summer, though.

There will soon be seven books of the Nocturne Falls series all together why haven't one of the books been on the new York times bestseller list yet ?

Kristen Painter It takes many, many books sold in the first week of release for that to happen. It's not something I worry about too much. All that concerns me is getting the books out and making readers happy!
