Start by coming up with an outline and what you want people to get out of your book when they're done reading it. Then just start writing...and don't overthink it. Don't edit yourself, keep writing...the editing will come later.

I break away from writing for at least 24 hours, during those 24 hours I don't think about the book I'm writing at all.....then I come back and attempt to write again when my mind has been cleared.
