Helen Golden Hi Rose,

I'm so glad you're enjoying the series. Sorry about the numbering, it's to fit in the novellas which don't have a clear timeline with the other books. Murder Most Wilde will be the last one in the series for a while. This is mainly because it marks the end of Bea's characters arc through the series — this will make more sense when you read the book. However I'm not prepared to say goodbye to her and the others for ever so I'm thinking about a novella sometime next year so we catch up with them all.
Next I'm starting a new series called The Duchess of Stortford Mysteries where the main character is Bea's great-great-great aunt and it's set in Victorian times. I'm hoping you'll like these new characters just as much. Many thanks Helen
Helen Golden Hi. I'm glad you have enjoyed the audio books. The company that produces them initially only took the rights to the first 3 books. I'm due to talk to them in the new year about the next 3. If you haven't already, could I ask you to leave a review on audible. That feedback is very important for them to see when they make their decision.
Best wishes
Helen
Helen Golden Hi Christine,

Yes, it's one of my favourite books.

Helen Golden Good question Pam! I create a file for each book in the software I write in and in it I have my character profiles, so each time I start a new file for the next book I transfer my character profiles over. I then just have to remember to age them depending on when their birthday was (yes I know my character's birthdays!). Regarding details from previous books in the series, when you have read them through as many times as I have (early drafts, changes from my editor, changes from the proofreader and the final read throughs) you tend to remember the details. I also go back and check things from previous books, as does my editor. I hope that answers your question. Thanks Helen
Helen Golden Give yourself time to write, edit and review and find a good editor who will help you make your book the best it can be. But most of all believe in yourself and your readers.
Helen Golden I plan before I write so with an outline and detailed chapter overviews I always know where I'm going and what I need to cover in each chapter. Of course, I still have to write the scenes but at least I have guidance that helps me focus.
Helen Golden Hogworts from Harry Potter! I would like to be a teacher there (mainly because I'd get to eat in the dining room every day), I'd like to teach spell composition.
Helen Golden Getting feedback from readers that they loved the book.
Helen Golden I'm doing the final edits on Not Mushroom For Death which is book 3 in the A Right Royal Cozy Investigation series and then I need to start planning book 4
