Hi Helke! Thanks for letting me know about the 404 page. I'm sorry you had to find that, and I've fixed it so it won't be a problem again. I'm not sure what's wrong with the amazon.de link. When I went to search for it I found it straightaway at https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B08Y.... Not sure if it was a momentary Amazon glitch or something else. :( Hopefully that direct link will allow you to find Book 1.

Hi Helke, so glad you love Theo! You should be able to find the ebooks at all retailers. You can check out the Winger page on my website at https://www.jeffandwill.com/jeff-adam... and from there you can link to a list of retailers for each book in the series. If you have any issues finding what you need, please let me know.

Hi Josh! I'm afraid the "Hat Trick" series is pretty completely out of print at the moment, unless you're able to find used paperbacks somewhere--and I can't imagine there are many of those out there. I don't even have a stash that I can hook you up with. My current tentative plan is to re-release the series in 2023 as that is the 10th anniversary of "Hat Trick." Thank you for your interest... I'm sorry I don't have better news for you in this moment.

Hi Stephen. Thanks so much for listening. I hope you're enjoying the adventures. You're correct that Eddie is black. There are more descriptions of Eddie as well as Theo in "Tracker Hacker" (especially in chapter 1 where we meet Theo and Eddie for the first time) and fewer in "Schooled" because of the flow of the story.

Hi R.D., great to hear from you and glad you discovered the show and thanks for picking up some of my books. I hope you enjoy them. :)
I'm looking forward to next Friday on WKIO. Should be good fun!

Hi Elizabeth. I'm so glad you like the "Codename: Winger" books and Theo's adventures. You may have already seen book #2, which is "Schooled." It came out back in May. On November 27, book #3, "Audio Assault," will come out and it'll take place in the summer between Theo's junior and senior year. After that, book #4, "Netminder," will be out sometime in the spring of 2019. I'm actually working on edits with my editor at Harmony Ink Press on that book right now to get it ready.
I do hope you continue to like these future stories!

Hi Michael, I would love to bring the "Hat Trick" series to audiobook. Having just released the audiobook for "Flipping for Him" and hearing how good that sounded, the idea of bringing Simon, Alex and their friends to life in this way is appealing to me. However, I also want to make sure it's done well and that the costs are covered. So, yes, one day it'll happen. I'm just not sure when. Thanks for asking and for being a great fan of "Hat Trick!"

It's kinda cheesy to say, but I usually click into writing mode as soon as I open up my story to work on it. I love writing, so most days it's easy to fall into the writing (or the editing, or whatever the task is). Some days my brain isn't there, and I try to just let those days go and come back to it. It's important that I don't beat myself up on days that, for whatever reason, I'm just not into it. I'm lucky, however, that those days don't happen often.

As I write this answer in early February 2015, I'm working on the third novel in the "Hat Trick" series. Simon and Alex are in the senior year at the University of Michigan, and they've got a lot on their plate. The goal is to have the manuscript finished by early May so it can come out in middle July.

Great, and thanks for Flipping for Him, I loved it Jeff!

If you enjoy writing, keep doing it. Don't let people tell you that you shouldn't be writing. Don't talk yourself out of it either. It can be easy to walk away from a draft that's not working right. Keep at it. Find other writers that you can use for support so you can forge ahead and get your story out there.

Always getting to tell new stories. I love coming up with an idea, and then seeing where the characters take me. Even if the story doesn't work out, and sometimes they don't, there's always the feeling that I created something fun, and that I may come back to later if I figure out a way to sort out the story elements.
