Aleshia,
Sorry that it took me so long to get back to you. At the moment, I have no signings planned. But... I work on base Tuesday thru Saturday, and you are ALWAYS welcome to stop in so I can sign your book! Message me on Facebook, and we'll figure something out, okay? <3

During my 'day job', I work in a convenience store on a military installation, and I've met some really amazing people that serve in the Armed Forces, and some of them have some really cool or unusual names. If I like a name, it's get put on a list that I keep. Sometimes a name gets put on the list because I like the person the name belongs. There's a column with last names, and a column with first names.
When a new character is being written, I consult the list and mix and match until I find a name I like.
But sometimes, I name a character completely after someone I've met and will even model the character after them. Those are the special ones. And those are the characters that usually stick with me the longest.

I truly believe that there is no such thing as Writer's Block. For me, 'Writer's Block' is just your subconscious telling you that something you've written isn't right or isn't going to work. Once you go back and find the problem and fix it, you're able to continue writing.
