If there is maybe a love triangle, would the girl get the first guy, as Helen got lucas in the stacrossed series. I felt quite upset about Orion being the one not being with Helen?.# I really loved Orion ^.^

Josephine Angelini I know, I felt bad for Orion, too, but then when i thought about it I decided that he shouldn't be anyone's second choice. He deserves to be the first guy a girl ever loves.

How difficult was the process to actually get your book published? Is there any advice you can give to aspiring authors?

Josephine Angelini I suggest submitting to agents first. An agent can help you not only get a publisher, but get your manuscript in shape so that a publisher will want to buy it. I adore my agent, and I don't know how I ever would have gotten published without her.

Hi Josephine, i absolutely adore the starcrossed trilogy.May i knw if you will be making a sequel of it soon?Or better yet, a prequel tht maybe focuses more on the older generation of the family (Daphne and Ajax)?

Josephine Angelini I have half a book on Daphne and Ajax and I'm thinking of finishing it when I'm done with the WorldWalker trilogy. (Such a heartbreaking story for Daphne, btw!)

I've been writing a novel for a while, but I feel that my characters are a little... 2D? I know my characters inside-out but I am struggling to put my ideas to paper. How can I effectively build my characters?

Josephine Angelini Tough question. It could be that you need more action to bring out their characters. Remember, in order to show character they need to make choices and react in situations and that way the reader can see who they are.

How did you come up with your story line for the starcrossed series? Did you dream about it(LOL), plan it out, or just go with it as you went?

Josephine Angelini I planned it out. There is a lot of dreaming involved in that, but I need to do a detailed outline to get it right.

Are you a daytime or nighttime writer? And do revisions wanna make you scream too?

Josephine Angelini Morning. Early morning is when I get down my best pages. Revisions are always hard. I do scream a little. And then I get back to work. Re-writing always makes the story better.

What is it like to be a writer?

Josephine Angelini I think it's the best job in the world. You spend a lot of time in yoga pants, talking to yourself. So, it's probably a lot like being crazy. I love it!

Will characters from Lillians world appear as their other versions in Lily's world? (Like Caleb, or Elias and Gideon who are both dead in Lillian's world)

Josephine Angelini No, I thought about that but discarded the idea because I already had too much plot. That's the problem with my stories, a lot happens.

I loved the Starcrossed series as well. I would love to meet those characters in real life :) If you could choose anyone (past or present) to portray the Starcrossed trilogy characters in a movie or play, who would you pick?

Where do you get inspirations for your books?

Josephine Angelini The ether? I honestly don't know. I think I just ask myself the question "what if" a lot and I don't instantly discard ideas for being silly. I just let myself think and dream and I try not to get in the way of my imagination.
