My book A Pawn for Malice was actually based on my experience as a legislative aide for various members of the New York State Legislature.

I would have to say Dylan and Alana in 'This Too Shall Pass'. I related to them more, I think, because this story was my life. You see, this book was therapy for me. So many aspects of the story mirrored the pitfalls I had endured. Dylan was the type of man I wished I had to help me get through what I was facing. It was a story that needed to be told, to help me cleanse away the sadness and pain.

Life inspires me! I know, corny, right? But sometimes, it might just be witnessing an interaction between two people that gets me thinking, seeing a report on the news, a situation experienced by someone I know ... the world in of itself, offers a host of ideas. Couple that with my imagination, you just never know :)

You know ... knock on wood ... I haven't experienced it yet. I do remove myself from the computer and go for a walk, get lost in a book I'm reading or, browse through a magazine. That way, when I come back to my writing, I can pick up from where I left off.

Don't ever give up or let a rejection stifle your desire to become a writer. When I first started mega, mega years ago, no one was open to giving advice. I took a creative writing course at a local community college to learn the formula of writing fiction and it helped immensely.

I just get downright excited over breathing life into a character and having my readers feel entertained. It just doesn't get any better than that.

Two books actually ~ Captive Warrior, which is Book 3 to my Iroquois Series and will be available after the first of the year and also, another Contemporary Suspense, Pawn For Malice, which should be available in early Spring.

I'm really blessed because my ideas just come to me. I've got so many book ideas in my head, I may be quite busy for a while.
