Hi Diana. It won’t be out in Spanish anytime soon as no translation rights have been sold. Thanks for asking though.

Hello. Thanks for the question. I'm not sure when book 5 will be out. It was a lot of built-up work to get the four out together. Five isn't written at the moment and I have a couple of other things to work on first.

It’s a mystery series but can’t add too much yet. Have a good new year.

Hi, Roxanne.
Sorry about this but the rights expired, so the Silver series doesn’t actually have a publisher at the moment.

Hi, John. All my 2022 books are third-person. After that, I have a new series beginning. When Covid settles down (if?), I’ll write more Jessica, too.
Thanks for asking.

Hmm, I suppose I wasn’t aware I did. I tend to either grab names from my mailing list, or from the list of most popular baby names from a year a character was born. I guess there’s a lot of Daniels and Richard’s out there!

It really does depend. I tend to take time off during the summer but I'm usually working on something, even if it's simply making notes for whatever's next. There's no real, definitive answer to this because it could be anything from a few minutes of note-making, to 14 hours of typing.

Thank you, John.

Hello, yes definitely. Jessica 13 will be at the start of 2019, with Jessica 14 in the middle of 2019. Thanks for asking.

Hi Cindy. It's just because the US is a little behind the UK in terms of releases. 2018 will be playing catch-up - and then the 13th Jessica book will come out on the same day worldwide in early 2019. Hope that helps. Thanks for reading.

Hi, Donna. Glad you've been enjoying the books.
With the plots...I'm not sure, really. Sometimes little news stories will catch my attention, or things I spot when I'm out and about. There's no particular formula. I make a note of anything I find vaguely interesting and, somehow, it all comes together.

Hi, Liz. I think JD8 is coming in December 2017; then JD9 in February 2018. 10-11-12 by the end of 2018.

Heh...nothing meant by it. I tend to throw in running jokes to see if anyone notices. I like the idea that Jessica and other characters are randomly annoyed at innocuous things. Like most people, I guess. There are little digs at the Welsh in most of the books, 'Corey', leggings, chuggers - and a few other things I've probably forgotten myself.
Glad you like the books. Thanks for asking.

Hi, Martin.
I'm afraid it is only available on Kindle at the moment. It might end up with a physical edition at some point...but there are no plans for now. Thanks for asking.

Heh...I'm afraid you will have to wait for Resurgence to get an answer to that. I promise it IS resolved, though...
Kerry Wilkinson
Heh... I deliberately left it woolly. It's an indeterminate near future...

That's a really tough question, because I'm not sure I have one. I tend to read a bit of everything - but I abandon a lot of books, too.
I've never been someone who'll plough on reading something I'm not getting into. If I'm about 10% in and a story isn't doing it for me, I'll move onto something else. Life's too short!
So I like - and dislike - everything. In the past couple of months, I've listened to a crime audiobook, read a young adult novel set in the "real" world, dipped into a science-fiction comic and read a non-fiction book.
Sorry I can't answer any better than that!
