You pick any title. There's a little introduction to Flame and his world at the beginning of each book. Then a new adventure begins, so you can dive right in! It's the same with the Magic Puppy, Magic Ponies, and Magic Bunny books, too. Enjoy. Let me know which book's your favourite? Best wishes - Sue Bentley

It probably is, but never say never. I'm writing books for adults now - see my Goodreads profile for more details - and don't have any plans to write more books about my sparkly magical animal characters. But you never know! Thanks for you question - all best wishes Sue Bentley.
Sue Bentley
Yes it could be, if you like. It's something a little kitten without much experience of humans might say! Thanks for your question - all best Sue Bentley.

Hi Madi - yes everything in Storm's world turns out fine for him, and his mother. He grows up to lead the Moonclaw pack. This is all left for the reader to imagine, as it means they can start the series with any book and not come across any spoilers that might spoil their enjoyment. Thanks for your question - all best wishes - Sue Bentley.

I don't write about mysteries in my own life, although there are bits of me in all of my characters. Sometimes I include details of things that interest me to make a plot more colourful and exciting. The plots all come from my imagination, and experience, but most of what I write I make up! Thanks for the question - Sue Bentley

Hello Ynez - you can start reading my Magic Kitten books in any order, the same with Magic Puppy, Magic Ponies and Magic Bunny. Each one is a different adventure with the main character of the magic animal meeting new friends and having fun! Thanks for the question - Sue Bentley

Hi Cristina - the reason Comet is still looking for Destiny in all the books is because they are a series, which a child (or parent) can read in any order. But you can tell your young reader that Comet will definitely find his lost sister one day. Thanks for your question - Sue Bentley

Hi Cynthia - thanks for your question and sorry for the delay in replying. I think you mean does Flame the Magic Kitten ever win back his throne from his wicked uncle? Yes he does - but in all the books he has a new adventure with the person he meets in our world, and this is what I write about. You know the ending now, so you can be happy for him! Keep on reading. Lots of love from me and Flame xxx

Hi Bella - thanks for letting me know how much you like my Magic Kitten books. I am busy writing a book for adults at the moment, and have no plans to write any more magical animals books. But you never know - I might do in the future. There are lots of books about Storm the Magic Puppy, Comet and Destiny, the Magic Ponies, and Arrow the Magic Bunny to keep you busy reading. Hope you you enjoy them all! Lots of love from me and Flame xxx

Hi and thanks for your questions. I used to have lots of cats - Poppy, Bradley, Misty, Bernie and Brian and Ebony - not all at once! They were all gorgeous and every one of them had a different personality. They all went to cat heaven as they grew older and now I get kitty and puppy cuddles from my son, who has 2 dogs and 4 cats.
It took me many years to learn how to write before my first book. And then I was able to write a Magic Kitten book in about two months. I make up the animals I write about, but sometimes add details from cats I used have as pet. While writing I drink Yorkshire or English Breakfast tea. Happy reading and good luck with your author report. Sue Bentley x

Hi Nicole - all the Magic series Kitten, Puppy, Ponies and Bunny (and a couple of specials Magic Reindeer and Magic Puffin) can be read in any order. Each book in every animal group is a stand alone story and there's a short piece at the beginning of each book that sets the scene for whichever animal group you're reading from. So collect away! Hope you enjoy them all.

Thanks so much for the feedback Khamryn. So glad you enjoyed We Other. It's always great to hear from readers.
I do plan a second novel in the world of We Other, with lots of exciting (and dark!) new characters. It will be entitled Scar You and I've made a start on this book. I also have another book in progress which is demanding all my attention at the moment - Frozen Charlotte, is set in Victorian times and the present, with a touch of the supernatural about it - not fairies this time. But I'll be back with Jess, Caleb, Catelysma, Ninka and all the others in due course! Happy reading, all best Sue

Hi Katrine/Catarina
Thank you for your kind comments re my Magic Kitten, Puppy, Ponies and Bunny series. It's a great privilege to know that reading them was the beginning of your love of books. I haven't any plans at the moment for writing another children's series, but never say never!
I have a Young Adult novel out, which you might have seen. Very different from books for younger readers. It's called We Other - you might enjoy it if you're now reading YA or older. I'm also working on two more novels for YA/Adult readers - so pretty busy writing!
Keep on reading - all best wishes Sue x

Hi Orla - yes I'm writing a book at the moment. It's quite early on, so I don't know when it will be finished. Thanks for the question. Have a good weekend xx
Sue Bentley
I don't understand your question? Could you elaborate a bit and I'll try my best to answer you? Thanks all best Sue Bentley

We've run out of chocolate peanuts, there will never be any more. Costa has gone into administration - eeek!

I'd go through the wardrobe into Narnia - wearing a big fur coat (faux-fur of course) and meet all the wonderful characters. Love snow and winter, so I wouldn't mind about the enchantment which meant that Christmas never arrived. I'd talk to Mr and Mrs Beaver and Mr Tumnus and be very cosy and happy. And Aslan would be my best friend. And the human children would welcome me too. I found this book so inspiring when I first read it and remain very fond of it.

Hi Orla - yes, definitely. I'm at work on my present book - another YA novel. The working title is 'I am Twoskin'. As soon as that's done, I'll get back into the world of my dark faery thriller We Other. Have a good weekend - make time to read!

Hi Karolina I've written around 70 books, mostly for children aged 5-9. I published my first book for young adults, called We Other recently. I'm busy trying to finish my next book. Have a good weekend - reading, I hope! x
Sue Bentley
I have a huge pile of books waiting to be read, in between trying to finish the novel I'm working on. Top of the list is Cold Earth by Sarah Moss, Beyond the Wall by Tanya Landman, Plague Charmer by Karen Maitland, and Chasing the Stars by Malorie Blackman.
