S.M. Boyce Hello Yuvonne,

That date is still tentative. Sorry about that! I provided a general update in my blog post here: https://smboyce.com/2024/02/10/yes-im...
S.M. Boyce Hello Gavin,

Yes, absolutely! It'll be narrated by the wonderful Wayne Mitchell as always, and it's due to release in January.

I do have a handy waitlist here: https://smboyce.com/email-signup-page...
S.M. Boyce Hey Felipe,

Thanks for asking! I do not have a map for the Grimoire Saga, but I do have a map of Saldia available on my site here: https://smboyce.com/published-books-b...
S.M. Boyce Hey, Oliver! That's a good question. Nope, every series is it's own thing, so you can start with whichever speaks to you most.
S.M. Boyce Hey, Cathy!

I’m glad to hear you are so eager to read Wraithstorm. Unfortunately, I don’t have control over that and have not been provided a formal date yet. My publisher, Wraithmarked Creative, is in charge of crafting the beautiful paperbacks, so feel free to nudge them to show interest.

I will make official announcements once I have more information. Thank you so much for the question.
S.M. Boyce Hey, Tawnya! I'm glad you enjoyed the Fairhaven Chronicles, as they were fun to write. They were a foray into something new and different for me, and it was good to stretch my legs a bit as I tried my hand at a different genre and writing style.

Oddly enough, that's pretty much the same reason I'm no longer on the books. Though I enjoyed writing them, they were quite different from my other work, and I opted to sell the rights back to Michael.

LMBPN is full of great people, and I enjoyed getting to know both Martha & Michael. Sorry there's no fun story behind the removal of my name -- it was really more of a boring business decision. Haha!
S.M. Boyce Thank you! I'm happy to hear you love Wraithblade so much.

We don't have a formal date for book 3, but it looks like the final edition will launch by April 2023 at the latest (I try to do at least 1 book per year). I will also be launching early release chapters to my patreon, so keep an eye out there:

S.M. Boyce Thank you so much for the compliments, Mike! It brings me immense joy that you've enjoyed the series thus far to such a degree.

Good question on WOW. I don't actually play, though one of my best friends loves it & will tell me bits here and there sometimes. My husband plays EverQuest and DND, so I live vicariously through him on occasion.

It's funny, but I actually play precious few RPGs, even fantasy ones. The one time I played DND, I got drunk and my chaotic neutral dark elf nearly got the whole party killed. (oops)

I mostly play Switch games like Pokémon and Animal Crossing. I like to escape the high-stakes worlds of my stories to go dig up fossils on a fake island or catch my 52nd Eevee.

I'll have to look into Ardenweald. The bogs are one of my favorite places in Saldia, so anything that relates to the lore and magic there is definitely on my to-do list to check out. Thanks for the tip!

I can't wait to see what you think of book 3. I've already got a good chunk of the outline done & will be releasing the chapters early on my patreon, if you're interested in checking those out. Hopefully I'll be able to finish book 3 much faster than book 2!

Take care & stay safe. You're amazing!
S.M. Boyce Thank you so much, Laird! I'm heading there now to give it a read.

P.S. I'm SO sorry I didn't respond sooner. I didn't get a notification about your question! Thank you for being patient & wonderful ❤
S.M. Boyce Hey James!

Tolkien is a huge influence on me, yes! Especially the Hobbit. I think he inspires me so much because I can just lose myself in the intricate and descriptive story he created. There's magic around every corner, and the magic system he created leaves you wondering what could happen next. His world is so expansive that you never TRULY feel like you've seen it all, and I think that's the hallmark of a truly engaging magical world... it's one you could easily spend the rest of your life in.

P.S. I'm SO sorry I didn't respond sooner. I didn't get a notification about your question! Thank you for being patient & wonderful ❤
S.M. Boyce You are so absolutely amazing! Thank you very much for posting those reviews.

S.M. Boyce Hey Rose!

I just relaunched the Grimoire Saga with new covers, and I've been thinking about finishing up the Ourean Chronicles as well. It's something I definitely want to -- and will -- do at some point, but they just haven't been selling.

For now, I'm going to launch 2 new epic fantasy series. I plan to come back to Ourea to write about the next Vagabond (don't want to give away too much yet ;) ) and when I do, I will wrap up the Ourean Chronicles as well.

Thanks for being patient with me, and sorry those last 2 books haven't been published yet!
S.M. Boyce I have a whole website dedicated to just this, actually. Head over to www.BoyceInk.com
S.M. Boyce Looks like I'm incredibly late to answer this question -- so sorry. I'm currently finishing up the Ourean Chronicles. I'm currently writing THE FIRST VAGABOND, Cedric's Story. His story has so much going on I had to split it into 2 parts! After that, I'll be hard at work on Deidre's story, THE DEMON.
S.M. Boyce Thank you for your question. I'm running experiments with Kindle Unlimited. Lichgates will likely be available on Barnes & Noble again either in September or January.
