Hal Johnson I'll admit it wasn't very good. But perhaps I have long had a weakness for reading kitschy books.

Even though I didn't have a good answer, I still have to say this is the best question I've ever gotten.
Hal Johnson It's tough to narrow things down to one favorite, but TOUGHNESS IS WHERE IT'S AT, so I'll say A Confederacy of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole.
Hal Johnson This is a great 21st-birthday gift! I mean, it's a weird gift, but a great one.

I took an Old English class in grad school, and the prof sold us samizdat photocopies. It's thin, so if you really want a copy, albeit a used one, send me a self-addressed manila envelope and I'll mail you my old copy. If you can't send a message through Goodreads, you can reach me on the gmail under the username immortallycanthropes.
Hal Johnson Wow, that's so cool, Ruby! If you have a scan or photo of it, please send it to [email protected] . Let me know if it's OK for me to share your art with the public!
Hal Johnson If someone drove a dump truck full of money up to my house...well, I'm not made of stone.

On one hand, I think the book answers all the questions and wraps everything up, so there's no need for a sequel. But on the other hand, the world is a wide world, and there are many places in it to have adventures, and I could see books in which people might meet the Rosicrucians or seek the nagbu-thorn and never talk about lycanthropes at all.

Although I guess that's the world most books take place in?
Hal Johnson I asked the Great Binturong and he suggested that the smells of various chips and snacks are a more product of your own conditioning than of the “very uncleanly flux” of the binturong. To the initiated, the binturong smells like Brachs’ candy corn. To Baron von Frito-Lay himself, the binturong smells like Smart Puffs and his nightmares.

This is the best question I have received so far.
