What’s the best thing about being a writer?
R.E. Sheahan Getting all the ideas and mental movies out of my head and onto the paper, or computer screen, makes me happy. When people read and like what I have written, it's the best!

How do you get inspired to write?
R.E. Sheahan Music. Walks outside in all kinds of weather. Reading.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
R.E. Sheahan The Storm of Arranon series started out as Star Wars fan fiction. I was told my story was good and that I should create my own characters and worlds. So I did!

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
R.E. Sheahan Read. Then read some more. Write. Then write some more. Get involved with writing groups, or critique groups. Helping each other is a great way to learn.

What are you currently working on?
R.E. Sheahan I am working on book four in the Storm of Arranon series. A new character has come through, demanding to have a part. She's smart, street wise, and a little rough around the edges. Sean seems to like her! I finished the book, still no title as yet, during NaNoWriMo, so I'm basically filling in, and adding to the bones.
