Most of the time, I find something else to occupy my time - step away from writing for a little bit and then sit back down. Writer's block (for me) usually occurs when I am trying too hard to create something that my heart is not behind.

My favorite thing about writing is creating worlds and people that don't exist. Allowing the little details of a character to come into a pseudo-reality right in front of my eyes. I also really enjoy meeting a fan that loves the people and places that I create.

Find something that provokes a strong emotion and let your fingers do the writing. Don't 'think' too much about your story or it will never come to pass. The best stories develop on paper right in front of your eyes.
