It refers to the teenage girl in the prologue who is being accosted by James Lampson and who makes a return later in the book and plays an important part in the plot.

I know I am ridiculously late in answering but thank you so much! Losing Leah Holloway is one of my faves that I've ever written. Unfortunately, because I'm contracted to write so many Detective Josie Quinn books, I don't have time to return to that series but never say never!

I realize I'm two years late but I literally just discovered this list of questions. Thank you so much for reading! The series is slated for 35 total books as long as reader interest is strong.

Thanks for this question! The sequel is in the works now and it is called Losing Leah Holloway. It is more of a companion novel in the sense that it's not about Claire herself, but it does focus a bit on Claire's relationship with Connor and how she is trying to live a normal life after having been back in the real world for five years. However, the mystery at the heart of the novel is not about Claire. She just gets thrust into the investigation.
