Originally, I left it open at the end in case I wanted to go that route, but my schedule hasn't allowed for that. I'll never say never, but as of right now, I don't have any plans to give her a book.

Hi Christine! I wish I could give you a release date approximation for Merciless, but the truth is that I have no idea at this point. I have a couple projects to finish up before that one, one of which is the second book in the Boston Heat series. ;) The best thing to do to keep up on what's going on in my world is to joint the Maxwell Mob on Facebook and/or sign up for my newsletter. http://ginalmaxwell.com/newsletter/ Thank you for being so interested in my stories! <3

There's not a set release date, but we're hoping to make it early 2017. :) Thank you so much for loving my FfL series! <3

Hi, Vinita! We're hoping for an October release for Ruthless. To hear the news first (or read the sneak peeks I've posted) you should join my FB reader group, The Maxwell Mob at www.facebook.com/groups/themaxwellmob. You can also sign up for my newsletters via my website. I only send them out for new releases so they're very infrequent, I promise. ;)

Hi, Judith! I love that you're interested in Desires of the Soul, unfortunately, that book/series probably won't be published for a few years yet. I have too many other contracts that I have to fulfill first and it needs a lot of work before I'll be ready to release it to the public. It's my "baby" and I want to make sure it's right. :) But since my publisher made the cover for it (we'd originally planned on publishing it a couple of years ago), it somehow got posted to Goodreads as an available book of mine and I just haven't gotten around to asking them to take it down. I'm sorry to disappoint you! Maybe if the stars align, I'll have the time to get it out next year. We'll see. ;)

Hi, Amina! Sweet Victory WILL be published in 2016, but probably not until the last half sometime. Thankfully, I'll have several new books from new series coming out in the next few months to tide you over until then. Thanks so much for sticking with me! :)

Hi, Selena, no it hasn't been canceled. Unfortunately, the last couple years have been difficult for me to write due to some health issues and the book was put on hold. But I'm much better now and doing well enough to release a whole bunch of new books this year, including Sweet Victory. Thanks so much for your patience!

Hi, Aarati, thank you! I'm so glad you like my books. Originally, I was going to write a book for Dillon's sister, but I ended up not having time to fit it into my schedule. I have a whole slew of books that I'll be releasing this year, though, so please keep an eye out for my new sexy firefighters and maybe even a stripper or few. ;) Sorry it took so long to answer you, I'm hardly ever on Goodreads! If you're on FB, come join my reader group at www.facebook.com/groups/MaxwellMob or at the very least, head to my website and sign up for my (very infrequent) newsletter so you can keep up with all the great stuff coming in 2016. Take care!

Hi, Colleen! Yes, I finally have an update. I was told October, but then I heard murmurings of maybe even moving it up to September. So either of those months and you'll be meeting Sophie and revisiting Xander. :)

Hi, Tanya! I'm so sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you. Actually, there will be a COUPLE DOZEN more books in that series...just not from me. ;) This is called a "continuity series" which means several (or 30) authors get together to write their own stories that all happen within the same event or time frame. In this case, Entangled's Lovestruck line is showcasing this series. My book is the first in the series and others were supposed to follow soon after, however things were held up for a while. But I think they're starting to be released this month or maybe July! Check out Entangled Publishing's website for more information. :)

Hi, Sofia! I can't give you an exact date, but Sweet Victory should be out in early spring of 2015. I'm really excited for my readers to experience Xander's story and meet his heroine, Sophie. ;)
There WILL be a 5th book to end the Fighting for Love series. I don't have a name for it yet, but it's Corey's story. We met Corey way back in Rules of Entanglement as Jax's friend and sparring partner. So we'll be heading back to Oahu (yay!) for that one.
After that, I plan to do a spin-off series of 3 books that will take us a few years into the future of that world. So the readers will see all the FfL characters in the background (happily married, toting toddlers and such) as minor roles of the 3 fighters I'll focus on for that short series. However, the tone of those books will be a bit grittier because they'll be single-titles as opposed to category romances.
Thanks for the question!

1. If you don't know how to do something, Google it! I learned everything about the publishing industry, how to query agents and publishers, how to write query letters and synopses, AND even how to write fiction well. I can't stress it enough. Google, Google, Google.
2. Find CPs (critique partners) that you click with (in personality and writing style) and trade chapters and manuscripts to critique. You learn just as much by critiquing someone else's MS as you do when they crit yours.
3. Don't wait to build your platform. Create a name and brand for yourself now so you have a ready audience when you get published. (Don't know what I mean by "platform" or "brand"? Google it!) ;)
4. Never stop learning. With each new book I write, I learn new things and get a little better than the last one.

I take some time to read. Reading a great book always gets me excited and my mojo flowing again. :)

Getting to meet and interact with my readers, and knowing that my stories and characters have touched others in some small way.
