The best thing about being a writer is the freedom. If I want to work in the middle of the night while wearing my sweatpants, I can. I also love being able to create people and worlds that other people respond to--when someone sends me an email or a review and I can tell that they totally "get" my work, it's a great feeling!

When I get writer's block, I do something else for a while--watch a movie, go for a walk, or work on another writing project. Sometimes, just stepping away from the current project for a while can help get the juices flowing, so to speak, when I sit down to write again.

I'm currently working on the fourth and final book in the In Your Dreams series, titled Beyond Your Dreams. I'm hoping to have that book out (fingers crossed) by late summer or early fall.
