Terry Soileau Don't give up. Keep on writing. I subscribed to Writer's Digest and The Writer in the past. I loved reading about other writers and their writing techniques. Study the craft of writing, especially the books that have really meant something to you.
Terry Soileau I follow the technique that Norman Mailer used when he wrote THE NAKED AND THE DEAD. He read from Tolstoy's ANNA KARENINA each day before writing. In other words, I read a little from favorite books. That always inspires me. I also love reading and re-reading certain books on writing. One of my favorites is by the author of WRITING DOWN THE BONES (can't remember the title or the author's name).
Terry Soileau I love the process of creating a story - all aspects of it, from planning, research, writing, and revising. It helps that I have always loved literature and that I have always had a very high regard for writers.
Terry Soileau I just write through it. You can always revise.
Terry Soileau No, Sharon, but you are at the very top of my reading list. You're next! :)
