Trying to finish the last of the Jack Reacher novels. I also have Dragons of Fate by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman and Lloth's Warrior by R.A. Salvatore coming.

Echoes it the third book my series. As this is the mid point, I kind of look at it as the crucial pillar. There are so many great book or TV series that can match up that structure and many have the same philosophy. Most or all the characters will face tremendous hardship and the choices they make to deal with them will impact the rest of the stories to come.

I always loved to create stories. I wrote some fun, but kind of goofy ones in Junior High, but it was only as an escape. I am a technology guy and writing is just another way to express creativity. I love sci-fi/fantasy and to create something others can read and enjoy, especially my kids, is really incredible.

I am finishing up my 3rd book in my series, The Epherium Chronicles. It is due to be released in February 2015. I am plotting out book 4 and looking at another sci-fi based series as well.

Read all kinds of stuff, but always keep writing, even if you are just writing in a journal or expanded notes for your manuscript. You have to be patient and you have to be persistent. For me, faith and family help a lot. I don't think I could have accomplished what I have with my writing or my normal job without them.

Probably the best thing for me is talking to all my old friends and acquaintances about. Most had no idea and I can see the excitement in their faces after they read the first book.

I do a variety of things. I read, especially things not in my normal zone. I exercise, play video games with my kids, or just watch a good movie. What ever I do, it gives my creative side some time to rest and come back strong. Then the words just flow onto the page.
