What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?
S.K. Gregory The mystery of how my brain works! The way ideas pop into it sometimes, I do wonder if there is some outside influence lol.

S.K. Gregory Hogwarts:) I would love to do magic

How do you deal with writer’s block?
S.K. Gregory I get blocked sometimes on stories I am working on, so I stop and work on another story. I don't really get complete writer block.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
S.K. Gregory Write everyday, read as much as you can and never give up. Your writing will keep improving as you go.

What are you currently working on?
S.K. Gregory I'm currently working on the second After novel which at the moment is titled Before. It is the story of the original outbreak.

How do you get inspired to write?
S.K. Gregory Usually an idea just pops into my head and I get excited by it. I have to write it down or I'll end up forgetting it! I like finding out where my story will go and what happens to the characters and it flows from there.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
S.K. Gregory For After, I knew I wanted to write a zombie novel but I didn't want it being about the outbreak. Like Walking Dead, I wondered what the world would be like after an outbreak and it went from there. I decided against the end of the world scenario and instead the country has been set back but it still has power and computers etc.
