Charlene, accompanied by her fiancé Marcus, having already gone through almost the entire deserted mansion she’d just inherited from her great-grandfather, finding creepy furniture and skeletons of what must have been dead cats, now had only one room left; the attic which could only to reached by the pull-down staircase near the master bedroom. Pulling down on the rope leading there proved to somewhat hard, as it took both of them to do it; but, as they pulled down, they heard a loud creaky noise, followed by screams of terror, then silence, when out of sudden a body hanging by a rope appeared in front of them.

Hi Sharon - Sorry about the delay in getting back to you, just missed seeing your question. I read a wide variety of genres from those thick picture books for the youngest of readers to hot steamy erotic novellas. One thing I don't accept requests to read a book:

Hi John
I believe the answer to your question can be found in the description for the book:
"Micro Fiction - An Anthology is a collection of responses by Robin Leigh Morgan to the prompt word provided by Lillie McFerrin each Thursday on her website http://www.lilliemcferrin.com . Some of responses have appeared previously on the author's blog sites, others have been written for inclusion in this book."
Now, the reason I began responding to Ms. McFerrin's prompt is: It helped me get through periods of the dreaded condition known as "Writer's Block." It did this by getting the creative juices flowing inside those little grey cells inside my mind. I began responding to her in 2013.

I love hearing from my readers and followers, It's a wonderful feeling knowing what they think of what I'm saying. At times it seems I've made a difference in their lives with the advice and information I've shared with them.
If this is not enough to feel inspired - - Please tell me what is ???

Being retired for over four years has given me something to occupy my time with; otherwise I'd been bored silly with nothing to do. It helps me keep my mind active with the writing and editing of my writing endeavors.
I also get to interact with my readers on the various social sites I'm on. Otherwise, I'd have become a couch potato showing TV all day waiting for my OH to come home from work to prepare dinner, etc.
I've turned this feature on about five days ago and so far I've loved the questions I've been asked to answer.

"I Kissed a Ghost" my first YA Paranormal romance novel for the most part had been written using pure imagination. The idea of girl having a friendly ghost living in the house she's just moved to I got as you might be thinking right now, had been from the ghost character know as Gasper.

Don't take any criticism, especially those from your fellow authors, as criticism. Take them as I do -- take them as a form of guidance and support from one author to another.

I've found a GREAT WAY to deal with this dreaded condition all of us author is to write Flash Fiction based on a prompt word. I've been following Lillie McFerrin's website site for quite a while now.

Each Thursday she gives her readers a prompt word to write a Five Sentence Fiction based on it, the word doesn't have to be used in any of these five sentences.
I've posted a few of them on my blog here on GoodReads. To read more of them you're invited to check my profile to get the links to my blogs. Once there you'll find them under the category of Five Sentence Fiction.
