That is such a big question. I've used my real name for my first 4 novels but have considered using a pen name for future work but that is a decision for another day. Consider publishing and promoting your work and if you will be comfortable with anyone knowing that is you. Putting your work out there is very scary so sometimes I can understand a pen name.
As far as writing in a female dominated genre. Don't hold back. There is nothing saying a man can't write wonderfully eloquent and beautiful work. I think of authors like F. Scott Fitzgerald (The Great Gatsby) or even someone from today's Taylor Sheridan... both phenomenal writers with a huge female following.
Not to mention, depending upon the quality of your work you being a male in the industry will separate you in an extremely saturated market. Good luck.

Interesting question. I had to think about it for a bit because I would say I'm not very mysterious nor has my life been. However, as a child my mother's show horse died. He was incredible and drew a lot of attention from the groups we competed against. His death was tragic to my family and our training barn. However there seemed to be more to the story.
You see, our horse had won a particular event for a few years in a row. It was the one competition that had a pay out every year. The summer our horse, (who happened to be in the gelding classes) died, the winning mare and the winning stallion also died.
I always felt this was too big to be a coincidence. Though I was eleven and had an imagination that would wander. To my knowledge, no one ever looked into the coincidence further.

I shook myself awake from a nightmare, covered in sweat and tears, only to realize it wasn't a dream. This was my life.

I believe it would be fun to dive nose first into the Rock Chick series of Kristen Ashley's world... hot men, fun and quirky women, great music, serious adventure. Good, good, good, good. xo

I've been so bad lately and haven't been reading like usual. In the process of moving and that takes a lot of time. I did start the Handmaid's Tale but haven't gotten very far into it.
When I do have any free time I'm trying to pull my thoughts together and focus on my current WIP's so that perhaps I can get another something special published before people forget me altogether.
Thanks for the ask. xo

I don't really write erotica I'm much more into the unexpected suspenseful romance. In all honesty my characters take shape on their own but I could definitely see a strong tension and angst between an interracial couple being smoking hot.
Thanks for making my wheels turn. xo

That's a tough question because I love so many for different reasons. My original favorite couple was Scarlett and Rhett, though she didn't give him the love he deserved. I was raised on Gone With the Wind.
As of lately, I adored The Air he Breathes by Brittany Cherry and the couple Tristan and Liz, they were broken and I really enjoyed the way they wound up together. Their journey and the thoughts of what will be for them.
I also really enjoyed Sparrow by L.J. Shen the couple Sparrow and Troy were very well written filled with passion and suspense which I am a true sucker for....
I've had a very emotional couple of years and though I adore the love story of R.S. Grey's Abby and Beck in her novel With This Heart, it was gut wrenching for me in spots. This can also be said for The Edge of Never's Cameron and Andrew... ugh... fabulous.
But my favorite couple of all would have to be Jessie MacKenzie and Sawyer Kincaid from my novel The Real Deal ... they lived in me and meant so much to me like all my characters but there was a little something extra in Jessie and Sawyer for me. I'll keep what, to myself. Second favorites, Shelby and Wolf from Strong, she is cool and tougher than she realizes and he was a good guy with a tough exterior who didn't give love easily but did give it completely once he surrendered to it.

Hi Andrew. Thanks for the questions. Let's see if I can answer them in order. Why do I write... I've always written. I am a creative person and writing is a type of outlet for me, so even if I'm not working on a book at the moment you can bet I've got something in the works, thoughts spinning in my head or a poem breaking down. By nature I am a procrastinator so when I fall in love with a character and find that they fill the majority of my waking thoughts I like it, writing becomes simple and they take me on a journey. Do I do what I write... not really. I write more about what I daydream about doing... given another opportunity; if this, then.... kind of situation. Yes I am constantly thinking of scenarios that my character(s) will face / deal with and how but I don't outline and rarely make notes... when my fingers hit the keys they take their own path and lead me through the characters story.
I hope this answered your questions. Please feel free to ask me anything. Enjoyed talking to you. xo

Gary thank you for your friendship. As you know I write only fiction and my characters are born within my imagination however I receive inspiration from real life and as you are indeed a character I'm quite sure that inspiration will follow.

Ryan, pictures can be as deceiving as the words on a page. The twists and turns in my books are as generous as the curves on my body and fortunately, I'm fond of them both. However, to answer your question more seriously, my books stand on their own and speak for themselves. Happy reading. ;)

I give myself time and I'm willing to consider that the block is simply because the book took a turn it shouldn't have, go back, allow myself to explore other avenues and I'm not afraid to delete if it doesn't feel right. My best writing flows from my fingertips as though someone is trying to get out, I'm not really in control. (I'm not crazy even though that makes me sound like I could be.)

Besides being a mom it is the thing I'm most proud of myself for doing. I've never considered myself good at anything but these two things seem to come naturally for me. Not saying I'm good but they come easy and I'm willing to be a work in progress.

Keep writing. Don't give up. Don't let reviews stop you.

I have a few new books in the works. Romantic suspense.

It depends different moods and different things inspire me, but I've been writing my whole life. Most times I wake up with a thought or idea in my head and go from there.

The question that starts the book came to me one morning and the rest of the book just followed as characters developed in my head.
