Judy Sheer Watters My 22-year old son, desperately trying to grow up and faltering in all aspects, decided to leave home at 9:00 pm to hitchhike from Texas to California. What was then a frightening experience, turned out to be an eye-opener for him and another bit of letting go for mom.
