I'm so glad you liked Fractured Steel and Twisted Iron!
Shattered Gold will be out this summer, although I don't have a concrete date just yet.

Twisted Iron was inspired by a little family history, and my own battle with PTSD. After I wrote Fractured Steel, Aiden bugged me ... he had his own story to tell. I was talking to a cousin about our roots in Montana, and learned that my own great great grandfather was in a water rights war over by Wolf's Point. It was interesting. It grew from there.

It depends on my mood. Sometimes a song, watching mustangs in the wild, shoot even a bar of chocolate can inspire me. Mostly, it's the people I see, and the constant question, "What if ..."

Watching the stories in my head appear on paper. I often see them as movies, and the challenge of getting it on a document is a kind of high. I also love when someone has read my book, and comes to me with the words, "I'll never look at the world the same." It means they understood what I was trying to convey.

Usually with a lot of coffee, cleaning, and possibly a few words I can't repeat. Honestly, it depends. Often I find I have writer's block simply because I did something wrong in the MS itself. I go to people who know my writing, and let them see. They can usually spot where I went in the wrong direction. Other times, it's because I had a splurge of writing, and need to recharge.
