In all honesty? This book was inspired by true events in my life. True events that made and broke my heart and soul yet molded me into the woman I am today. Every time I read it I fall in love with the characters and the love story itself. I just hope readers feel the same way when they read it, too. I've had quite the life in my 20-something years, it's a story to be told. <3

People are going to tell you that you're terrible and have no writing ability. People are going to be offended and ask you to tone it down. People are going to question you and you're going to question yourself. Close your eyes, take a couple deep breaths and not to go all Taylor Swift on you all but ' Shake it, shake it off'. Never take naysayer's words to heart...especially if the naysayer is you.

I get to create a world of my own when I don't feel like living in the one I'm in. People escape this life through addictions or habits...I escape it through writing. We all have an escape.

Music, music, and more music.
But sometimes that doesn't work so I'll wait until creativity decides to flow back through my veins. I'll finish the piece, the article, or the chapter when I'm meant to finish it. Writing is an art-- and you sure as hell can't rush art.
