Where did you come up with the last name for your Starving For Genius protagonist? And do you know the origin of that name? Sign me (my name is) Ed Zerylnick
Rico Lamoureux Hi Ed:) I once had a martial art instructor who really impressed me. So half of my reasoning to use his last name, Zerylnick, was to pay homage. The other half was the interesting origin/meaning of the Russian word, which I indeed mention in the book.

By the way, I now post stories on my blog, hope to see you there...!

What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?
Rico Lamoureux Actually, I've had quite a few mysteries unfold throughout my life, which is why I wrote my autobiography, Power of the Pen. This includes fighting through a life-altering illness as well as moving to the other side of the world for love. So far the book's been getting a great reception from those who have read it , and I warmly invite readers to check out the free preview on Amazon:)

I'm so glad that you enjoyed Riker's Calling! He and I are both hoping to release another story soon, but this really depends on how well the first one does. As a working author I have to worry about putting food on the table with my writing, and therefore must follow wherever the almighty dollar leads. In less than a month Riker's Calling will be released, and if we find enough support, it's very possible that a follow-up novella will be available before 2017!
